The Center for Global Consciousness provides executive coaching and strategic consulting to CEOs and senior executives, and support for individuals undergoing personal transformations.

The Center for Global Consciousness is a Certified B Corp and was recognized by B Lab in 2019 as Best for the World - Overall. We are committed to donating at least 5% of revenues to charitable causes and have supported numerous charities, including The Dance Palace, Marin Agricultural Land Trust, Community Land Trust Association of West Marin, B Lab, The Shareholder Commons, West Marin Fund, West Marin Community Services, and West Marin Senior Services. We generally donate in excess of 50% of our net income to charity, including grants to individuals in need.

The Center for Global Consciousness was originally incorporated in 2017 as Lex Ultima Consulting, LLC. We kept the original url in our e-mail address to honor one of our favorite developmental theorists, David Hawkins, who posited that love is the ultimate law of the universe. Lex Ultima means “the ultimate law” in Latin.

We believe that humanity is in a profound spiritual crisis because our civilization, our economic system, our businesses, and our institutions do not follow the ultimate law and prioritize profits over taking care of each other and our home planet. Under the prevailing doctrine of shareholder primacy, the hidden moral code for global business is to maximize stockholder welfare at the expense of society and the environment. As a result, we face a growing number of existential crises, including global warming, social polarization, and inequality in wealth.

One way of addressing these crises is to expand the underlying consciousness that created them. If we can expand this consciousness, then we can upgrade the hidden moral code running our civilization, our economic system and the organizations that run that economic system to be consistent with the golden rule and its analogs under most religions that guide individual behavior. The Center for Global Consciousness operates in service of expanding this consciousness.

What is this expanding consciousness? Love: love for each other and love for our shared planetary home. Ultimately, we are one human family sharing a common home. We strive to create a trustworthy and safe container for this consciousness in all our coaching and consulting relationships.
